Glattfelden is a political municipality in the Bülach district of the Canton of Zurich, located on the state border with Germany.

Glattfelden is situated in the Zurich Lowlands on the last stretch of the Glatt River, which flows into the Rhine at Rheinsfelden. In addition to the village of Glattfelden, the area includes the settlements of Schachen, Aarüti, Rheinsfelden, and Zweidlen. Neighboring municipalities are: Weiach, Hohentengen, Eglisau, Bülach, Hochfelden, and Stadel. The municipality also includes the exclave of Neuhus, a single farm in the Rhine floodplain, which also gives Glattfelden a shared border with Hüntwangen.
