Ittigen is excellently served by public transportation: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen with the surrounding municipalities quickly and frequently. Travel time to Bern (main station) is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The S-Bahn line Bern-Worb serves the stations *Ittigen* and *Papiermühle* in Ittigen every 15 minutes - during peak hours in the morning and evening even every 7½ minutes in both directions.
Bus lines connect the stations *Ittigen* (line 43) and *Papiermühle* (lines 40/41) with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From *Papiermühle* station, two bus connections also lead
(lines 40/41) to Bern, with direct connection to Bernmobil.
Worblaufen station is served by all S-Bahn lines. Connections to surrounding municipalities and to Bern are excellent. A bus also runs to the Bern North Quarter. On weekends, Ittigen and Worblaufen are served at night by the Moonliner.
