Ittigen is well served by public transport: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen with surrounding communities quickly and frequently. Travel time to Bern (main station) is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The S-Bahn line Bern-Worb serves the *Ittigen* and *Papiermühle* stops in Ittigen every 15 minutes - during peak hours in the morning and evening even every 7½ minutes in both directions.
Bus lines connect the *Ittigen* station (line 43) and *Papiermühle* station (line 40/41) with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From *Papiermühle* station there are also two bus connections
(line 40/41) to Bern, with direct connection to Bernmobil.
All S-Bahn lines pass Worblaufen station. The connections to surrounding communities and to Bern are very good. A bus also goes to the Bern North Quarter. On weekends, Ittigen and Worblaufen are served at night by the Moonliner.
