- Highway junction Zurich-Geneva A1 accessible in approximately 2 minutes and recreational area in approximately 5 minutes

Ittigen is very well served by public transportation: S-train and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen with the surrounding municipalities quickly and frequently. Travel time to Bern (main train station) is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The S-train line Bern-Worb serves the Ittigen stops *Ittigen* and *Papiermühle* every 15 minutes - during peak hours in the morning and evening even approximately every 7 minutes in both directions. Bus lines connect the stations *Ittigen* (line 43) and *Papiermühle* (line 40/41) with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From Papiermühle train station, two bus connections (line 40/41) also lead to Bern with direct connection to Bernmobil. All S-train lines pass through Worblaufen station. Connections to the surrounding municipalities and to Bern are excellent. A bus also goes to the Bern North Quarter. On weekends, Ittigen and Worblaufen are served at night by the Moonliner.
